Allium senescens

This species is a low perennial that can reach a height of 20-30 cm. Its spherical pink flower heads adorn it from late spring to summer. It grows best in a sunny spot, in well-structured, nutrient-rich soil. Its water need is low. It is often used as an edging plant and in flower beds. It is a perfect choice for adding color and height to the garden and combines well with other perennials or perennial bulbs. It attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, so it can help increase the biodiversity of the garden.
